Pranav Jha is the National Secretary of All India Congress Committee and coordinator attached to the office of the Congress President.

Born in the year 1973, on the banks of river Ganges, near ruins of famous ancient seat of learning-Vikramshila. Pranav Jha grew up in Nehruvian Temples of Modern India Bokaro Steel City, now in Jharkhand.

For higher studies he came to Delhi University and engrossed himself in student politics when Shri Rajiv Gandhi was leader of opposition and Shri VP Singh had become PM with support of BJP.

Like millions across the country, his dream was cut short with martyrdom of Shri Rajiv Gandhi.

Disillusioned, he successfully ventured into Journalism, TV, Advertising, Film Making where he also served as Creative Director of a National Agency. With his heart firmly in the Congress Party and politics, he finally found his calling back when Shri Rahul Gandhi decided to join politics.

He became active again as a volunteer campaigning in states sometimes working behind the scenes with senior leaders and was appointed an office bearer when Shri Rahul Gandhi became in-charge of NSUI & IYC.

Later, he was appointed National Media Coordinator in 2015, and later was appointed as AICC Secretary in 2017 by Shri Rahul Gandhi.

He was part of the Shri Yashwant Sinha’s campaign for the office of President of India. A month before the election of Congress President he was also attached with Congress party’s Central Election authority.
